1 This is a succession petition filed by the Petitioner namely Sh. Yoginder Sood for the grant of Succession Certificate in her favour qua the debts and securities left behind by deceased namely Sh. Mohinder Singh Dosaj, who died on 02.10.2006 at Delhi.
2. After filing of this petition, notice of filing of this petition was given to the general public by way of publication in the newspaper ' THE STATESMAN ' dated 10.01.2008, but none has appeared from general public to oppose or contest the present petition. 3 The deceased Sh. Mohinder Singh Dosaj was the father of the petitioner. He expired on 02.10.2006 at Delhi and his death certificate is Ex. P1. The wife and mother of the deceased Mohinder Singh Dosaj predeceased him. Besides the petitioner, the deceased Sh. Mohinder Singh Dosaj has left behind one son namely Mahesh Inder Sood, who is respondent but he has not appeared in this court despite service of notice. The deceased has also left behind three daughters namely Renuka Kashyap, Ragini Parwanda and Ramnik Sood. Out of them, Ramnik Sood had also expired leaving behind one son namely Ajay Sood, one daughter namely Bhavana Shwaney and her husband Sh. Vijay Sood, who are all LRs and they have filed their no objections to the grant of succession Certificate in favour of the petitioner and the same are Ex. P/4 to Ex. P/8. The deceased made a WILL dated 27.06.1996, the copy of the WILL has been exhibited as Ex. PW3/1 and proved in terms of statement of PW4 Mr. Vijay Khaneja, who is attested witness of the said WILL. The deceased has left behind a saving bank account bearing No. 10484055283 (Old No. 0119007874) with State Bank of India, Shakti Nagar branch, Delhi, the certified statement of the said account is exhibited in the statement of the bank official (PW2) as Ex. PW2/2. The deceased was ordinarily resident of Delhi.
