The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the respondent to change the name in the Patta Nos. 471 and 866 as ?Va.Periyasamy Athar, Nattar, Maruthuvar Madam? from the name of Muthuramalingam Athar Nattar Maruthuvar Madam, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2015 and Sections 10 & 12 of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act 1983.
2.According to the petitioner, they said to have filed an application before the respondent/Tahsildar, on 16.12.2015, for change of name in patta Nos.471 and 866 as ?Va.Periyasamy Athar, Nattar Maruthuvar Madam? from the name of Muthuramalingam Athar Nattar Maruthuvar Madam and the said application is pending till date. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition.
