Today Learned AAG Shri Thakur has placed on record copy of the letters dated 15.05.2018 & 13.06.2018 as per which multifunctional printers have been installed at all the police stations of the State of Rajasthan.
As per the circular dated 20.11.2017, placed on record on the previous date of hearing, directions have been given by the Special Secretary Home Affairs that service of summons shall be effected upon official witnesses by electronic means in terms of (2 of 2) [CRLMB-3502/2016] Section 62 Cr.P.C. After issuance of the said circular, requisite equipments/Hardware essential for serving the process upon the witnesses by electronic means have been procured and installed at the police stations as per report dated 13.06.2018.
