This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to respondents No.3 and 4 to continue to provide the Hamali work to the petitioners herein and their members without any hindrance and to pass such other order or orders.

Hari Preeth, learned Standing Counsel for Agriculture Market Committee appearing for respondents No.4 to 9.
3. It is submitted that the petitioners' societies have been working as Hamalis in the Agricultural Market Yards and when the respondents are not giving work to the members of the petitioners' society, they claim to have made representations dated 03.02.2024 and 07.10.2024 to respondent No.2 herein, but no action has been taken so far.

4. Learned Standing Counsel for respondents No.4 to 9 submitted written instructions, according to which only Market Committee license holders are entitled to work as Hamalis in the said organization and the petitioners are not the Market Committee license holders of respondents No.1 to 9.
