If the answer to query no 1 above is in the negative confirm whether any orders or guidelines are issued by AICTE to mandatorily require the BE First Class Qualified lecturers appointed before being re-designated as Assistant Professors in terms of AICTE Regulations 2010 to acquire additional qualifications for consideration of CAS in the grade of Associate Professor.

Whether Assistant Professors holding education qualification of BE First Class who are appointed as lecturers before 05.03.2010 and fulfilling all other conditions like API based PBAS and qualifying years of service etc are eligible for award of the grade pay of 9000 in the Scale of Pay of Rs. 37400 67000 AGP 9000 pertaining to Associate Professor under CAS upon fulfilling the qualifying 3 years of service as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 8000 in terms of the clarifications issued in Para 39 of the AICTE Clarifications on Certain Issues anomalies pertaining to qualifications Pay Scales Service Conditions CAS etc for Teachers of Technical Institutions Degree Diploma 2016."
