The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give permission and police protection to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Sri Mahaganapathi, Sri Mahasakthi Mariyamman, Sri Vellaiyamma, Sri Pommiyamma, Sametha Sri Duraiveeran and Parivara Deivangal Festival at K.Vellalapatti, Belukurichi Via, Kalkurichi Post, Namakkal District, on 03.03.2023 between 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2023.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in order to conduct the cultural programme in the event of Sri Mahaganapathi, Sri Mahasakthi Mariyamman, Sri Vellaiyamma, Sri Pommiyamma, Sametha Sri Duraiveeran and Parivara Deivangal Festival at K.Vellalapatti, Belukurichi Via, Kalkurichi Post, Namakkal District, on 03.03.2023, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 20.02.2023 to the respondent. But, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
