1. Shri Ajit Kumar Singh filed an application dated 15.11.2013 under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act) before the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), Central Bureau of CIC/RM/A/2014/002000/SB Page 1 Investigation (CBI) seeking information regarding item wise and date wise expenditure incurred on the case 'fodder scam' pending in CBI Court for the last 17 years of Shri Lalu Prasad Yadav, Member of Parliament.
2. The appellant filed a second appeal dated 29.03.2014 before the Commission on the ground that the CPIO should provide him information free of cost and penalty be imposed on the respondent under the provisions of RTI Act.
