- learned counsel for the petitioner, that if the petitioner only requires Ext.P2 to be taken up and disposed of, there does not appear to be any legal impediment for the respondent in doing so; but prayed that this Court may not make any affirmative declarations in his favour and leave it to the said respondent to take an appropriate decision thereon, as per law.
