CONCILIATION ORDER The learned counsel for the petitioner-Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (for short referred to as 'the Corporation') along with its representative and the learned counsel for the respondent No.3-workman, who is the sole contesting respondent, are present.
2. After prolonged negotiations, the matter is settled. The petitioner-Corporation has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.47,238/- (Rupees Forty Seven Thousand Two Hundred and Thirty Eight Only) with interest at 10% per annum from 20.07.2011 till the date of deposit, in full and final settlement of the claim by the 3rd respondent towards payment of gratuity and the 3rd respondent has agreed to receive the said sum. The amount agreed as above which is in deposit before the Assistant Labour Commissioner be released in favour of the Respondent No.3, on proper identification, and remaining amount be released in favour of the petitioner-Corporation. 4
3. The writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the joint memo.

Labour Commissioner and Controlling Authority bearing No. ALCB-2/PGA/CR/75/2011-12 dated 21.01.2013 and the order passed by the Deputy Labour Commissioner dated 12.03.2015 in DLC-1/PGA/CR/92/2013-14. The Writ Petition has been referred to this LokAdalat by the Hon'ble High Court U/S.20 of the Legal Services Authorities Act.1987. The contested parties to the petition have settled their claim before the Lok Adalat on the following terms:
The petitioner & the 3rd respondent being the contested parties to the proceedings have agreed to settle the case. The petitioner has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.47,238/- (Rupees Forty seven thousand two hundred and thirty eight only ) with interest at 10% per annum from 20.07.2011 till the date of deposit, in full and final claim of the 3rd respondent towards payment of gratuity and the 3rd respondent has agreed to receive the same in the above terms. The amount agreed as above be released in favour of the Respondent No.3 from the deposit made before the Asst. Labour Commissioner and remaining amount be released in favour of the petitioner - Corporation.
The parties to this petition have set their hands to this settlement before the Lok Adalat in the presence of Conciliators on this 09.06.2017 at Bengaluru Bench.
