Heard Sri Vijay Bhaskar, learned counsel representing Sri D.Kodandarami Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Haribabu, learned Standing counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 6 and Sri S.Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services appearing for 1st respondent.
2. The petitioners filed the above writ petition complaining about the highhanded action of respondents 2 to 6 in not allowing them to discharge the duties as Village Organization Assistants of respondents 7 to 13 societies respectively. In para-3 of the affidavit, it was pleaded that the 1st petitioner was reelected as VOA by the members of the 7th respondent society in a meeting held on 07.02.2023. The 2nd petitioner was reelected as VOA by the members of the 8th respondent society in a meeting held on 08.02.2023. The 3rd petitioner was reelected as VOA by the members of the 9th respondent society in a meeting held on 02.03.2023. The 4th petitioner was reelected as VOA by the members of the 10th respondent society in a meeting held on 03.04.2023. The 5th petitioner was reelected as VOA by the members of the 11th respondent society in a meeting held on 20.10.2023. The 6th petitioner was reelected as VOA by the members of the 12th respondent society in a meeting held on 14.02.2023. The 7th petitioner was reelected as VOA by the members of the 13th respondent society in a meeting held on 14.02.2023. It was further awarded that all the petitioners were reelected for a term of three years. Respondents 2 to 6 are interfering in discharging their duties from September, 2024 and insisting on the handover of the records of Village Organization Assistants.
