Dated this the 20th day of November, 2025 The writ petition has been filed by the petitioners who have taken part in the selection process conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission for selection to the post of Typist Grade-II/Data Entry Operator in respect of vacancies that exist in the Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited (Matsyafed). It was a State-wise selection process and the petitioners are included at Rank Nos.8 and 9 in the Rank list. Persons holding Rank Nos.1, 4 and 5 sought for their deletion from the Rank List and the person holding Rank No.2 resigned from the post.

3. Standing Counsel representing the respondents submits that only nine posts are available for Direct Recruitment in the cadre of Date Entry Operator / Typist Grade- II. Six vacancies have already been reported and one more vacancy is to be reported. The respondents will be reporting the said vacancy soon before the expiry of the Rank List.

In the circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent-Kerala Public Service Commission to give advice to candidates, if the Matsyafed has 2025:KER:89381 reported vacancies, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate before the expiry of the Rank List.
