1. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking consideration of his candidature for selection to the post of Basic Computer Instructor (Non-TSP) and according appointment.

It is, inter-alia, indicated in the petition that pursuant to the advertisement dated 01.02.2022 (Annex.1), the petitioner participated in the selection process for the post of Basic Computer Instructor. In the result declared, the petitioner had obtained marks more than the cut-off. However, on document verification, the candidature of the petitioner has been rejected vide Annex.-7.

4. Submissions have also been made that the petitioner has made a representation (Annex.8), which has not been considered by the respondents.

5. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and have perused the material available on record.

A perusal of the advertisement indicates that the qualification for the post of Basic Computer Instructor is that the candidate must have BCA; the advertisement also provided that those, who were appearing in the Final year of BCA, could also apply, however, they were required to have their qualification prior to the last date of the written test. The order dated 18.01.2023 (Annex.7), whereby the petitioner has been disqualified clearly indicates that the result of the petitioner was declared on 17.08.2022, which was later than the last date of examination, which fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
