46. Prayer made before this Court is for examination of the witnesses by video conferencing in view of amended provisions contained in Section 275 Cr.P.C. and request for examination of the witnesses on commission under Section 284 Cr.P.C. has not been pressed. However, petitioner's grouse is that he should not be made to pay the expenses of the witnesses sought to be examined by him on video conferencing. He has referred to 'State of Maharashtra Vs. Dr. Praful B. Desai' (2003) 4 SCC 601, to emphasize that cost of video conferencing should be borne by the State.
