                             1)                 The Central Bureau of Investigation, Economic Offences

Branch, Mumbai, has lodged the present crime on 30 th September, 2022, under Sections 120-B read with 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. The Petition is pending before this Court for last more than 27 months. The Petition was lastly taken up for hearing on 25 th July, 2025 when at the request of the learned Special P.P., time was granted to take instructions on the points which were raised by this Court. 1/2 ::: Uploaded on - 14/08/2025 ::: Downloaded on - 15/08/2025 23:12:11 :::

2)                Today, Mr.Shirsat, learned Special P.P. on instructions submitted

that, in last 27 months i.e. 810 days, statements of 101 witnesses, out of which 59 witnesses are bank employees, have been recorded by the Investigating Agency.

2.1) Upon a specific querry by this Court that, whether the role of any public servant is revealed during the course of investigation in the crime till today, to which it was informed that, till date no role of any public servant is revealed.

2.2) Upon a further querry, it was informed to this Court that to ascertain the role of any public servant in the present crime, the process of scrutinizing statements of witnesses is undergoing and it may take about four months to complete it.

3) At the request of Mr.Shirsat, stand over to 19th December, 2025.

4) Ad-interim relief, if any granted earlier, to continue till the next date.
