27. As pointed out earlier, as per Section 147(2)(b) of M.V. Act, a statutory liability fixed in respect of damage to vehicle by any third party is Rs. 6,000/-. But under Ex.B2- Comprehensive Policy, for any damage, the insured - deceased Senthilkumar had paid premium of Rs. 6,429.81. As per the terms of the contract, the damage to a third party property is not restricted to statutory liability of Rs. 6,000/-, but is unlimited.
