This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second Respondent to grant permission and necessary protection for conducting Urtchava Thiruvizha festival followed by cultural programs including the dance program (Adal Padal) schedule to be at 06.00 p.m., on 04.08.2022 at Arulmigu Sri Rakkatchiamman Thirukovil at Kokkupatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District.

2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the cultural programs including the dance program (Adal Padal) scheduled to be held on 04.08.2022 at 06.00 p.m., at Arulmigu Sri Rakkatchiamman Thirukovil in Kokkupatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District. Subsequent to the same, in order to conduct the Adal Padal Programme, they sought permission of the police by giving a https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis representation dated 19.07.2022. But, the second respondent has not considered the said representations. Since no order was passed, the petitioner has come before this Court for the above said relief.
