ORDER (ORAL)
Hon'ble Ms. Manjula Das, Chairman The applicant is seeking grant of SAG benefits under the DACP Scheme with effect from 29.10.2008.
2. Briefly stated, the applicant was appointed as Ayurvedic Physician in ESIC on 25.10.1983. He was promoted as SMO (Ayurveda) on 2.05.1995, as CMO (Ayurveda) on ad hoc basis on 29.02.1990, as CMO (Ayurveda) regular on 18.08.2004, and thereafter as CMO (NFSG) Ayurveda on 1.08.2006. He retired on 30.11.2010 after completion of more than 27 years of service. On 29.10.2008, 6th CPC recommended grant of upgradation upto SAG level to allopathic doctors and dental doctors. The applicant also submitted representations for grant of SAG, the last one being dated 22.12.2021. In reply thereto, the respondents informed the applicant that the matter with regard to SAG to Ayurveda doctors is still under consideration.
3. We heard the learned counsels for the parties and perused the pleadings.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, we deem it fit and proper to dispose of the present matter with a direction to the applicant to approach the appropriate authority by way of a fresh representation, which may be disposed of by the 3 Item No. 8 OA No.625/2022 respondents by passing a reasoned and speaking order. Accordingly, we direct the applicant to approach the appropriate authority through a representation, ventilating his grievances. As and when, such a representation is made, the same shall be disposed of by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of its receipt.
5. The OA is disposed of in the aforestated terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
