The CPIO furnished a reply to the complainant on 18.04.2023 stating as under:

"The information sought is not available with the Board."

Being dissatisfied, the complainant filed a First Appeal dated NIL. The FAA order is not on record.

CIC/AWBIC/C/202 01.09.2022 8.9.2022 Ans.1 &2: The list of slaughter houses & meat shops is not 3/600788 available with the Board. The same can be available with the respective State Government and FSSAI.

Ans.3 to 5: The Central Government has enacted the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Slaughter House) Rules, 2001 and the provisions of the Rules are to be followed for slaughtering.
