1. This hearing has been done through hybrid mode.
2. This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking quashing of the provisional attachment order bearing ref. no. 05/2021 dated 11th May, 2021 and the consequential investigation and proceedings initiated by the Respondents under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 ('PMLA'). The issue raised in these petitions is qua the validity of such proceedings, on the ground that the mandatory period of attachment amounting to 180 days, as prescribed under section 5(1)(b) read with Section 5(3) of the PMLA has already expired.
3. Since, similar issues are already being considered by the ld. Division Bench of this Court in LPA No.362/2020, titled 'Directorate of Enforcement v. M/S Vikas WSP Ltd. and Ors.
