societies engaged in agricultural credit and banking and
other societies engaged in various other activities.
There is a clear intelligible differentia between them. The
respondents also submit that it is not proper to give
membership to all sorts of societies in the DCB other
than the above said societies engaged in raising funds
for Agricultural credit and banking. The new provisions
help the orderly development of the co-operative
movement. Thus, the said classification has got a
rational nexus with the object sought to be achieved, it
is submitted.
