It is an admitted fact that pursuant to the direction contained in the order of this court dated December 22, 1993, notice of the meeting was sent individually to the members of MIL by post, under certificate of posting at their respective registered addresses together with a copy of the said scheme of amalgamation and of the statement required under section 393 of the said Act and a form of proxy. The notice of the said meeting was also advertised in the issue of the Times of India, Ahmedabad and Bombay edition, dated December 29, 1993, and in the Gujarat Samachar, dated December 29, 1993.
