Writ petition (civil) praying inter alia that in the circumstances
stated in the affidavit filed along with the WP(C) the High Court be
pleased to direct the Respondents or their officials not to harass the
Petitioner in any manner pending disposal of the above Writ Petition.
This petition coming on for admission upon perusing the petition and
the affidavit filed in support of WP(C) and upon hearing the arguments of
M/S.K.MOHANAKANNAN & A.R.PRAVITHA, Advocates for the petitioner,
GOVERNMENT PLEADER for Respondents, the court passed the following:
ORDER
The learned Government Pleader submitted on instructions that the petitioner had pleaded guilty to an NDPS offence in 2023, and has been involved in a crime alleging offence under Section 308 of IPC also. It is further submitted that the search so far conducted was following the procedure and after informing the jurisdictional Magistrate. The learned Government Pleader shall file a statement containing the essential details.
Post on 27/9/2024.
If any search is conducted in the meanwhile, that shall be done by strictly following the prescribed procedure.
