268.15. Section 377 IPC, so far as it criminalises even
consensual sexual acts between competent adults, fails

in Shayara Bano [Shayara Bano v. Union of India,
(2017) 9 SCC 1 : (2017) 4 SCC (Civ) 277] , Section 377

violative of Article 14 of the Constitution.
