Reliance has also been placed on Union of India and Others v. M/s. C. Damani & Co. and Others [1980 (Supp) SCC 707] wherein the vires of Exports (Control) Fifteenth Amendment Order, 1979 prohibiting pre-ban commitments was in question. It was held that there was no ground to discredit the policy.
