2. The petitioners are seeking to raise a challenge to internal communication at Annexure-A dated 20.01.2026 made by the Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District, to the Tahsildar, Anekal Taluk, to take action in accordance with law to remove all encroachments on the Rajakaluve in between Muthanalluru Amanikere and Alibommasandra Village.

3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the petitioners cannot be permitted to raise a challenge to an internal communication. Moreover, what is directed by the Deputy Commissioner is to take action in accordance with law. Therefore, the writ petition is premature.

4. There is substance in the submission made by the learned Additional Government Advocate, the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner to the Tahsildar is to take action to remove all encroachments in -4- NC: 2026:KHC:14176 WP No. 6817 of 2026 HC-KAR accordance with law. That being the position, the prayer made in the writ petition cannot be granted.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of, once again directing the Tahsildar, Anekal Taluk, to take action to remove any encroachment only in accordance with law. If the provisions contained in Section 68 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (for short, 'the Act') are required to be followed, then the Tahsildar shall proceed only in accordance with law as provided in Section 68 of the Act.

Ordered accordingly.

Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
