This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ( for short "Cr.P.C.") is filed seeking quash of the Crime No.22 of 2022 of Allagadda Town Police Station, Kurnool District.

2. At the time of admission, the counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has confined his request only to order notice under Section 41A Cr.P.C. stating that the offences registered against the petitioners are punishable with less than seven years period of imprisonment.

3. In view of the aforesaid request, without going into the merits of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines prescribed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar and another 1case.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any pending shall stand closed.
