The relief sought for in this writ petition is to call for the orders passed by the 1st respondent in proceedings dated 09.04.2014 and quash the same and direct the respondents to disburse the petitioner's gratuity, provident fund and earned leave salary as per U/s. 78 and 79 of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act.
2.The learned counel for the petitioner states that the writ petitioner was working as Secretary in the Isukazhikatteri Primary Agricultural Co-operative Bank, Isukazhikatteri, Thiruvannamalai Taluk & District and was terminated from service on account of the conviction imposed by the Criminal Court of Law. The petitioner preferred a Criminal Appeal before the Sessions Court, Vellore, challenging the order of conviction and the Sessions Court disposed of the Appeal by modifying the order of conviction as fine amount of Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred Only). Thereafter, the petitioner preferred a revision petition under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act before the Additional Registrar of Cooperative Societies on 10.12.2008. The said Revision Petition was rejected. Challenging the rejection order, the petitioner filed W.P.No.21855 of 2009.
