The petitioner, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited ["IRCTC"], in this petition under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ["the Act"], was the respondent/counterclaimant before the arbitral tribunal which was adjudicating disputes between the parties pursuant to a Letter of Award dated 02.01.2017. The Letter of Award was in respect of a license awarded by IRCTC to the respondent - firm, M/s Ramen Deka ["RD"] to set up and operate a food plaza at Old Howrah Railway Station.
