1. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner aggrieved of the rejection of her candidature for the post of 'Basic Computer Instructor'.

The facts are that the petitioner who applied for the post of 'Basic Computer Instructor' in pursuance to the advertisement dated 01.02.2022 (Annexure-1) has been declared as 'not qualified' on the ground that the academic as well the technical [2025:RJ-JD:21869] (2 of 4) [CW-11305/2024] qualification possessed by her are not equivalent to the qualification as prescribed in the advertisement.

6. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

A bare perusal of Committee report dated 21.03.2022 (Annexure-R/1) on basis of which the candidature of the petitioner has been rejected makes it clear that the opinion of the Committee with regard to the qualification of the petitioner being not equivalent to the requisite qualification was solely on basis of the fact that a 'Basic Computer Instructor' is required to teach the students of Class 9th to 12th and the candidate is, therefore, mandatorily required to be a graduate or with a higher educational qualification than the students who are to be taught by him/her. 8 The Committee opined that although the technical qualification of the petitioner is equivalent but she is not academically qualified and hence opined that the qualification of the petitioner was not requisite.
