At the time of hearing it was pointed out that on December 13, 2018 this Court directed that spirit lying in the tanks of factory of Pincon Spirit Limited be sold. The Excise Commissioner was directed to take effective steps as the spirit otherwise could not be sold in the open market. No steps have been taken by the Excise Commissioner for last more than two years. It was pointed out that now public notice has been issued on September 06, 2021.

Let the Excise Commissioner explain to this Court as to why steps were not taken to comply the order more than two years.
