Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the
encroachment made by the fifth respondents in Government Poramboke Water
Retention (Neer Thekkam) Parayan Oorani in Survey No.361 at
Dhathagoundapatti, Amanakampatti Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy
District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2025, within
the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.We are satisfied that old Survey No.194 , corresponding to new Survey No.361, is a water body. It is the duty of the respondents to ensure that the integrity of the water body is not interfered with and the character of the water body should be maintained as such.
