I am going to quote it. उद्धृतकरने से पहले मैं यह कह रहा था कि यह एक साजिश थी क्योंकि अंग्रेजों को यह पता था कि अगर वे कहेंगे कि भारतीय बड़ी महान संस्कृति के लोग थे तो हिंदुस्तान में उनका रहना कैसे हो सकेगा। कम्युनिस्टों को मालूम है कि जिस देश का राष्ट्रवाद, जिस देश की संस्कृति महान होगी वहां साम्यवाद नहीं होगा। इसलिए दोनों ने मिलकर यह साजिश रची कि यह दिखाओ कि न तुम्हारा इतिहास था न संस्कृति थी। यह पुस्तक मेरे हाथ में है It is called ‘History and Civics: A textbook’ by Romila Thapar.
