The petitioner is working as temporary Anganwadi Worker. According to her, she is the 1st rank holder in the seniority list prepared in the year 2010 for Anganwadi Workers of Purameri Grama Panchayath. The petitioner submits that even though she is the 1st rank holder, steps are afoot for promotion of Anganwady Helpers against the only one vacancy of Anganwadi Worker. The petitioner submits that in case that vacancy is filled up from among Anganwadi Helpers she will loose her chance for regular appointment.
