The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the to pass orders on the representations dated 7.5.2004, 10.11.2004 and 15.7.2005 submitted by the petitioners for grant of patta in respect of the property viz., all that vacant land bearing Plot Nos.17 and 18, Block 21, Thadagam Extension, Arokiasamy Road, R.S.Puram East, Coimbatore Town and effect mutation of title in the revenue records as well as in the municipal records on the basis of the eight registered sale deeds dated 3.6.1991 registered as document Nos.2870, 2871, 2872, 2873, 2874, 2875, 2876 and 2878 of 1991 registered in the Office of the SRO, Parasalai and consequently direct the respondent authorities to issue patta in favour of the writ petitioners and assess land tax and property tax in the name of the writ petitioners.
