3. The case of the petitioner, in brief, is that her husband was found dead in suspicious circumstances on the first floor of the supermarket being run by her stepson; that the respondents- authorities, based on the complaint made by her stepson, have registered a case in Cr.No.65/2025 on 11.02.2025; and that the respondents-authorities are investigating the matter by considering same as suicide, without taking note of the fact that the nature of death of her husbad is suspicious.

Petitioner further contends that her husband had transferred all his properties on to the name of her stepson, who had mortgaged the same with the 4th respondent and took a loan of Rs.14 Crores, and after the death of her husband, as he is absconding, she suspects the involvement of her stepson in the death of her husband, and thus, the respondents-authorities are required to investigate the case in that direction also. However, the authorities are treating the case as death by committing suicide.

Petitioner further contends that since, the case is registered as suicide and not as suspicious death, the petitioner had approached the respondents-authorities and submitted a representation, dt.17.02.2025 seeking for proper investigation into the death of her husband, and in spite of the petitioner submitting the aforesaid representation, no action is being taken. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

6. Learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents, on the other hand, would submit that a crime has been registered based on the complaint made by the stepson of the petitioner on 11.02.2025 and the authorities are still investigating into the death of the petitioner's husband.

7. Learned Government Pleader would further submit that the authorities have not yet completed the investigation for the petitioner to allege that the authorities having concluded the case as suicide for her to entertain any apprehension in the matter.

8. Learned Government Pleader further submits that the authorities in the course of investigation would consider all the possible angles as to the cause of death of the deceased, and if it is found that the petitioner's stepson is involved, necessary action would be taken in the matter in accordance with law.
