Petitioner's contention is that petitioner had secured normalised final marks 79.69, as is evident from Annx.P/2. According to him, as per Annx.P/9, one person whose name appears at Serial No.8 under the head of Constable (DEF) belonging to EWS category had secured 73.56 marks and was given appointment as Constable (DEF). Thus, it is submitted that the petitioner has been discriminated by not giving DEF posting.
