In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 the Union Government issued an exemption notification (.32 of 2005) on 8 April 2005 to provide for an exemption from the payment of customs duty on goods imported VBC 5 wp4499.07-14.6 into India against a duty credit certificate issued under the Target Plus Scheme in accordance with paragraph 3.7 of the Foreign Trade Policy.
