Hon'ble the Madras High Court has also amply clarified the legal position on partial compromise in the case V. Sakthivel and others Vs. State by Inspector of Police and another, Crl. O.P. No.28475 of 2017 decided on 20.12.2017.
Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. FIR No.0072 dated 03.04.2018 registered under Sections 420, 465, 466, 468, 471 read with Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (for short 'the IPC'), at Police Station Nathana, Tehsil & District Bathinda and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby quashed qua the present petitioner only, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.
