1. The petitioner is seeking the concession of bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.17 dated 16.02.2023 for the offences under Sections 353, 186, 332 IPC (Sections 333 & 427 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Division A, Police Commissionerate Amritsar.
2. On 24.04.2023, while noticing the following submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court had granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner and asked him to join investigation.
"Learned counsel inter alia contends that false allegations have been levelled against the petitioner of having beaten the Pharmacy Officer, Civil Hospital, Amritsar and thus, obstructed him from performing his official duties. He submits that the petitioner was granted 1 of 2 Neutral Citation No:=2023:PHHC:100087 CRM-M No.19912 of 2023 2023: PHHC: 100087 bail by the trial Court vide order dated 23.02.2023 however, subsequently, offence under Section 333 IPC was added on 10.03.2023. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is ready to join investigation and cooperate with the investigating agency."
