1 Let the learned APP produce before us the Maharashtra Prisons (Mumbai Furlough and Parole) (Amendment) Rules, 2018, as according to the learned counsel, the amendment contradicts the entire object of the prison system and releasing the prisoners on Parole and Furlough, the prominent object of making the facility available, is to maintain the continuity of outside life, despite the fact that the prisoner is incarcerated and his release would maintain his social and family ties.
