Petitioners in these writ petitions are B.Tech students in Colleges affiliated to the first respondent University. In these writ petitions, their grievance is that they have applied for revaluation of the subjects of 8th semester examination and that the results are not declared so far. Petitioners state that some of them have already got selected from campus itself for employment, while some of the petitioners have obtained admission for Post Graduate studies. It is their case that on coming to know that they have failed in the subject of the last semester and that thereupon they applied for its revaluation. It is stated that if revaluation results are delayed, they will lose both the job opportunity and the admissions that they have secured for P.G. Courses.

2. However, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the University points out that the University needs larger time for completing revaluation and to declare the results. According to him, even the last date specified for receipt of application for WPC.27956&28099/2010 : 2 : revaluation is not over.

3. Although the practical problems of the University cannot be ignored, still fact remains that the future of the students in these writ petitions depends upon the declaration of the revaluation results by the University. If it is delayed, obviously, the petitioners will lose chances for getting employers and will also the benefit of admissions. In such circumstances, I direct that the University shall expedite the revaluation sought for by the petitioners and take every effort to declare the results before 13- 10-2010 so that, the certificates could be produced before the appropriate authorities before 15-10-2010, the last date specified for this purpose.

4. Petitioners shall produce copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition before the University for compliance.

These writ petitions are disposed of as above.
