                         JUDGMENT

The above writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

" i) Call for the records which leads to the Ext.P2 select list and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and vitiated by malafides after issuing a writ of certiorari or other writ, direction or order;

ii) To issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, direction or order, commanding the respondents 2 and 3 not to make any appointments from Ext.P2 select list to the post of casual labourers in the Instructional Farm, Vellayani;

ⅲ) To issue a writ of mandamus or other WP(C) NO. 6197 OF 2014 4 appropriate writ, direction or order directing the respondents to take steps to prepare a select list of casual labourers afresh in the Vellayani Instructional Farm after issuing a fresh Notification;

iv) To grant such other and further reliefs, as deemed fit to be granted by this Honourable Court in the facts and circumstances of the above case." SIC

2. The main prayer in this writ petition is to quash Ext.P2. A perusal of Ext.P2 itself would show that the above Casual Labourers list is valid only for three years from 05.02.2014. If that be the case, the prayers in this writ petition are infructuous.

Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
