Shri Moggallan Bharat of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, filed an RTI- application with the Public Information Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru University, on 13 December 2007, seeking a certified copy of Report of the GSCASH Enquiry Committee, etc. The PIO vide his letters dated 14 December 2007 and 17 December 2007 replied to the RTI-application. Not satisfied with the reply of the PIO, the Appellant filed an appeal with the first Appellate Authority on 18 December 2007 who vide his letter dated 11 January 2008 supplied the required information but denied one piece of information taking recourse to Section 8(1)(g) of the RTI-Act.

3. The Appellant approached the Commission again with the request that his case may be heard again as he could not present his case earlier in view of the summer vacations in the University.

4. The Bench of Dr. O.P. Kejariwal, Information Commission, heard the matter again on 16 October 2008.
