SHRI SOMNATH CHATTERJEE : Mr. Speaker, Sir, what our information is that some large number of people speaking Bangali language, working there and earning their livelihood, those poor people were huddled together and taken to a court one day and seven days later, the police came, arrested them, put them in a railway compartment and put them in chains. We are in 1998. I would like to know whether this is a civilised country or not.
