This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to grant permission and protection for the conduct of temple festival of the temple namely Sri Muppidathi Amman Thirukovil Situated in 7th street Dr.Ambedkar Nagar, Pathamadai Cheranmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District scheduled to be held on 26.01.2025 to 28.01.2025 based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is representing Pathamadai Adi Dravida Mahajana Seerthirutha Sangam and the sangam is proposing to hold a kodai festival from 26.01.2025 to 28.01.2025, for which he had sent representation to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis the respondents 1 and 2 on 06.01.2025 seeking for police protection. Since the third respondent is raising some objection and causing some disturbance he had sought for police protection.
