1. We have heard learned counsel for the Petitioners in Writ Petition No.7104 of 2002 and Writ Petition No.2004 of 2015 as also learned counsel for Daryanani (Indo-Saigaon) Construction Private Limited, who has been allowed to intervene in the two Writ Petitions.
2. Learned counsel for the State of Maharashtra did not seek any deferment of arguments in the two Writ Petitions when learned counsel for the said two Writ Petitioners made their submissions. After counsel closed their submissions request has now been made to defer further hearing to enable the State and its officers to respond.
3. Such a request ought to have been made at the beginning.
4. Thus we decline to postpone hearing in the two Writ Petitions in view of the fact that on 09 th December, 2019 while AJN ::: Uploaded on - 15/01/2020 ::: Downloaded on - 16/01/2020 00:03:36 ::: 3/3 03 WP-7104.02&WP2004.15(vii).odt listing the two Writ Petitions for final hearing in the Admission Board, it was indicated that the final hearing would take place on 14th January, 2020.
5. However, we permit learned counsel for the State to file Written Submissions within three days.
6. The two Writ Petitions are reserved for judgment.
