          I wish to draw the kind attention of this august House to a very important matter concerning every household in the country.

          Education has become a fundamental right of every Indian child and free and compulsory education has been guaranteed under the Right to Education Act. This historic Act has been brought about during the time of the UPA Government. We are all extremely proud that a democratic country like ours, with a population of over 120 crore, could achieve such a goal. This achievement has been acclaimed the world over.

          Madam, I seek your indulgence in the matter. Thank you.
