further argued that the Accused has raised
totally inconsistent defences and thereby her entire
defence suffers from doubt, suspicion and
improbabilities. Accordingly, prayed ... while cross-examining the
Complainant, the Accused has taken up two inconsistent
defences, thereby raising a serious doubt about her
defence. Likewise it is elicited
during the present proceeding, the Accused has come up
with 4 inconsistent defences in his attempt to rebut the
presumptions available in favour ... clearly admitted the financial capacity of
the Complainant;
vii) There are inconsistent defences raised by the
Accused in his reply notice, in his chief-
examination
favour of the Complainant.
59. Therefore these contradictory stands and the
inconsistent defences taken by the Accused lead to an
inference that, his defence ... contrary by having taken up two contradictory
and inconsistent defences, he has rendered his defence
version as a highly improbable one. As such, this court
only to the tune of Rs.1 Lakh. There
are inconsistent defences raised by the Accused with
regard to the period, during when he claims ... with the
Complainant was in the year 2014.
49. Therefore these inconsistent defences taken by
the Accused clearly goes to show that
