reveals that the Gram Panchayat of Village Chak Kalan has allotted 72 plots

illegal, the petitioner may resort to his remedy under the Punjab Village
Common Lands (Regulation
Gram Panchayat has no jurisdiction to
carve out 100 Sq. Yards plots out of Shamilat Deh.

We have heard counsel for the petitioners and find no reason

freehold residential plots in Aerocity, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, of various
sizes in various ... category of Scheduled Tribe for 300
Sq. Yards plot, but in the common draw of lots of Scheduled
Caste/Scheduled Tribe, all the plots were
Common Wealth or Olympics Games. The petitioner, admittedly,
is winner of a silver medal in Common Wealth Youth Games,
2008 and not in the Common ... silver medal in
Common Wealth Youth Games and not in the Common Wealth
Games but still applied for allotment of a plot against
sites."

allotted plots to the members of the Scheduled Castes and Backward
