143. Penalty for unauthorised carrying on of business of procuring and supplying of railway tickets
Railway e-tickets. They have their
centers for e-ticketing at their respective offices outside the
premises of Patna Railway Station and Rajendra Nagar Railway ... Railway Act is a penal
provision for unauthorized carrying on all business procuring and
supply of Railway tickets. The provision runs thus:
"143. Penalty
Force (RPF), Durg (C.G)
for the offence punishable under Section 143 of Railways Act,
1989.
2. As per the prosecution case ... contemplated under
section 143 of the Act, therefore, in case of issue of E-
Tickets through IRCTC, section 143 of the Railways

Railways Act and submitted that the evidence clearly indicated
that respondent Suresh ... held that Section 143 (1) of Railway Act is not

Section 143(1) of the Railways Act reads, thus:

143 of the Railway Establishment Code every railway ser-vant must sign an agreement. The said rule runs as follows ;
"143. Service agreement. Every ... when a railway servant enters into a service agreement at the time of entering the railway service Rule 148 of the Railway Establishment Code, either
